Economic development is integral to the future directions and aspirations of the Moorabool Shire. Council's economic development unit provides an initial point of contact and facilitation throughout the planning process for the investor right through to support and assistance for the local home based business.

• Regional coordination and facilitation of key strategic projects

• Tourism development support

The unit endeavours to stimulate economic development through collaboration and partnerships between public and private sector organisations.
