Help Moorabool thrive
Want to help Moorabool Shire thrive?
You can, by telling local members of parliament you’d like them to publicly back Moorabool Shire’s priority projects.
We’ve worked with the community to identify what we want and need to make the Shire an even better place to live and work. To do this, we need to urge the sitting members for the state seats of Melton and Buninyong in the 2022 state election to promise to support the major projects we’ve identified on behalf of the community.
What you need to do:
Start a new email and add the following recipients: Michaela Settle, Member for Buninyong - Michaela.Settle@parliament.vic.gov.au and Steve McGhie, Member for Melton - firstname.lastname@example.org
Add the subject line: Helping Moorabool Thrive
In the body copy, add the following text:
Dear state member,
I am writing to you to support Moorabool Shire Council’s efforts to obtain commitments for federal funding support for major projects of huge importance to our community, including:
- The Bacchus Marsh Community & Bowls Hub
- Sewering of the townships of Wallace and Bungaree
- The Bacchus Marsh Racecourse Recreation Reserve Community Hub
- Oval upgrades for local townships
- Upgrade of Griffith Street, Bacchus Marsh, including expansion to four lanes.
We live in a growing area, with the population set to double in the next 20 years.
Help us to ensure our facilities and infrastructure keep pace with this growth, honour existing campaign commitments and support our efforts to help Moorabool thrive!
