The Bacchus Marsh Racecourse and Recreation Reserve is an active sports precinct to cater for the growth and future active sports requirements in Bacchus Marsh and surrounds.
The development of the precinct has been delivered over three stages:
Stage 1 comprises a multi-purpose pavilion and playing field, BMX track, relocation of existing equine facilities, site services, access roads, car parks, pedestrian paths and landscaping. For more information, click here
Stages 2A and 2B comprises AFL, cricket and soccer playing fields, netball and tennis courts, an all-abilities adventure playground and associated car parking.

Stage 2C includes the construction of the Community and Multi Sports (CAMS) Hub that includes Changing Places and gender neutral changerooms and amenities, first aid and storage.

As part of Stage 2 works, construction of the Community and Multi-Sport (CAMS) Hub commenced in February 2026. This $10 million project involves the construction of a new facility, which will include:
Large multi-purpose social community space, meeting rooms and kitchen
Change rooms, amenities, first aid and storage to support Football, Netball, AFL and Tennis
Public toilets for visitors
Changing Places facility
The CAMS Hub ensures that users of the facility have access to appropriate amenities while participating in sport, active recreation, and leisure.
The project is funded through the Federal Government Thriving Suburbs Program - $4,000,000 and State Government Growing Suburbs Fund $3,290,000; Local Sports Infrastructure Fund: Female Friendly Facilities $1,000,000 and Changing Places $180,000, with the remainder being funded by Council.
