Regional Roads Victoria is undertaking a planning study into a new road that will link Geelong-Bacchus Marsh Road to the Western Freeway, to the east of Bacchus Marsh and Gisborne Road.
The eastern link road is planned to divert heavy vehicles and through-traffic away from the town centre to reduce congestion and improve safety in Bacchus Marsh.
