Justin Nemeth, The Union of Agriculture and Nature

Between April and July 2026, local photographer Justin Nemeth presented The Union of Agriculture and Nature, an exhibition of new and recent works capturing Moorabool Shire’s distinctive landscapes across both MAPP Gallery venues. The series contrasts untouched natural environments with agricultural infrastructure and the communities shaped by the land, featuring cinematic images of locations including Lerderderg State Park, Werribee Gorge and Bostock Reservoir.  

Born and based in Bacchus Marsh, Nemeth has spent a lifetime exploring the region. A self-taught photographer, his work extends into large-scale public art commissions and mentoring emerging local photographers through community workshops. 

This project was presented at MAPP Gallery Bacchus Marsh and MAPP Gallery Ballan.
