Meeting Framework
Council currently holds Ordinary Meetings of Council throughout the year on the first Wednesday of each month (excluding January) in Council Chambers, 15 Stead Street, Ballan commencing at 6.00pm.
Council also holds Unscheduled (Special) Meetings of Council as required to consider matters that are of an urgent nature or that can’t be held until the next Ordinary Meeting of Council.
Council holds a Statutory Meeting of Council in November each year where the election of the Mayor and/or Deputy Mayor is conducted, as well as considering the next year’s Council meeting schedule.
Unscheduled Meeting of Council
Notice is hereby given that an Unscheduled Meeting of Council will be held in the Council Chambers, 15 Stead Street Ballan and online on Wednesday 28 October 2026 commencing at 6.00pm.
Business to be conducted:
- Moorabool Shire Council Annual Report 2025-2026
- Easements Over Council Land for Development Purposes Policy
- Any other business admitted by a unanimous resolution of Council.
The meeting will be open to the public and live-streamed on Council’s website.
