Meeting Framework
Council currently holds Ordinary Meetings of Council throughout the year on the first Wednesday of each month (excluding January) in Council Chambers, 15 Stead Street, Ballan commencing at 6.00pm.
Council also holds Unscheduled (Special) Meetings of Council as required to consider matters that are of an urgent nature or that can’t be held until the next Ordinary Meeting of Council.
Council holds a Statutory Meeting of Council in November each year where the election of the Mayor and/or Deputy Mayor is conducted, as well as considering the next year’s Council meeting schedule.
