Carberry Drive Recreation Reserve Upgrade

Works have begun on upgrading the Carberry Drive Recreation Reserve in Hopetoun Park, with preliminary site works underway.

Hopetoun Park has undergone significant population growth and development, resulting in increased demand for public recreation and open space facilities.

Works include:

• Removal of the existing play structure and installation of new, modern play equipment including community swing, accessible spinner and more.
• Picnic shelter with seating and street furniture
• Drinking water fountain
• Walking path improvement
• Overall landscape upgrade and drainage improvement works
• Basketball court
• Doggie bag dispenser
• Rubbish bin
• Bike hoops

This project is made possible thanks to the State Government's Tiny Towns $50,000 grant, with the remainder covered by Council.
