Disability Access and Inclusion Services

There are many services and facilities to support you. Find out if you qualify for the NDIS scheme or how to access support services and programs.

Accessibility services for everyone

There are an estimated 8,100 people living with a permanent or temporary disability in our Shire, out of a total population of 35,000. Some living with a disability have high-care needs, and may need daily assistance. This vital caring role is often taken on by informal carers.

Moorabool Shire Council can connect you to services and supports for you and your carer so you can experience the many attractions of the Shire.

In-home support services can also be accessed and funded through the Victorian State Governments Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC-PYP).

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)?

If you are under the age of 65 you may be able to access various support services provided by the NDIS.
