Meeting Participation
Public Question Time
If you have a question you would like to put to Council, you can do so and have it answered at a Council meeting.
Having the option to ask questions at a Council meeting is an opportunity for you to engage directly with Council to raise matters of public interest that may inform decision-making.
By submitting the below form to us by 5pm the day prior to the scheduled Ordinary Meeting of Council, you will receive a response from Council at the meeting.
Speaker to an Item
If you would like to speak at a Council meeting in relation to an item on the agenda, you can register to be a Speaker to an Item either in-person or virtually.
This provides you with a maximum of three minutes to address the agenda item directly with Councillors prior to Council making a decision on the matter. Please note that this is not an opportunity to ask questions of Council, such requests should be made by submitting a Public Question.
To be registered to speak, you will need to submit the below online or physical form to us by 3pm the day of the scheduled meeting.
