Scotsburn Fire

In December 2015 a fire occurred in the Scotsburn area. Council is continuing to support the community through their recovery.

Victorian Floods September 2016

Moorabool Shire Council has been affected by the Victorian Flood event that has occurred in September 2016.  A number of roads and bridges across the Shire have been closed and remain closed today.  The Werribee River in Ballan has reached moderate flood levels.  Council staff are currently undertaking assessment on local roads and bridges as part of the recovery process.
