Use our Sustainable Events Trailer

Event planners may borrow our Sustainable Events Trailer to manage waste and recycling. The trailer holds a set of 4 recycling and 4 garbage bins. After your event, empty out the bins at any of our transfer stations for no charge.
To book the trailer, follow the link below. You will be required to provide a $200 deposit which will be returned to you after the event. The trailer is available on a first-in, first-served basis, so book well in advance for popular times throughout the year.

  • The hirer is responsible for the disposal of rubbish and recycling and cleaning of the trailer prior to its return
  • This can be done free of charge at any of Council's transfer stations
  • A $200 bond must be paid to Council at time of booking
  • The bond is fully refundable upon satisfactory inspection of returned trailer, bins and bin caps


How long can I book the events trailer for?

 The events trailer can be booked for a period of up to one week.


Where can I collect the events trailer from?

The events trailer is available to be collected from, and returned to Council between 8.30am and 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. Please contact Council prior to confirm the collection details.


Will Council dispose of the rubbish and recycling for me when I return the trailer?

No. It is the responsibility of the hirer to dispose of the waste prior to returning the trailer to Council. Waste contents can be disposed of free of charge at any of Council’s transfer stations.
