Our Early Years team offer a range of programs and services for children and families. We deliver initiatives for the diverse needs of our community, facilitating opportunities to learn, connect, and engage.

Park Connect and Play

Park Connect and Play is a relaxed and engaging program for families with young children, facilitated by our Early Years team. Held in local parks and recreation spaces across Moorabool, these sessions offer playful activities, social interaction, and a chance for children to explore and move in a safe and inclusive environment.

Everyone is welcome! Whether you're a parent, grandparent, carer, or simply interested in joining the fun, all Moorabool families are invited to participate.

These free sessions will be held on the following Wednesday mornings from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

Managing Big Emotions

Join us for Managing Big Emotions, a free 6-week education program designed for parents and carers of children aged 0–5 years. Delivered by the Moorabool Shire Council Early Years Team, this program offers practical strategies to help navigate big emotions and challenging behaviours in young children.

Through engaging, low-pressure workshop-style sessions, you'll gain tools to build stronger, more positive relationships with your child—while boosting your confidence and understanding as a parent.
