Moorabool Shire Council is currently in caretaker mode due to upcoming Council elections.
We work with communities to make sure that everyone including people living with a disability can play an active role.
About 8,100 people in the Shire live with a disability (about 20%). Not all disabilities are visible, and not all are permanent. We work with communities to make sure that everyone including people with a disability can play an active role.
Our access and inclusion programs support collective resources and creativity. The aspirations and creativity that exist within each community drive the programs forward.
We have just completed a new Plan that outlines the strategy and actions to deliver these programs. The Plan covers what is required over the next 4 years to deliver an accessible and inclusive community.
