Check out the incredible time capsule feature that beautifully bridges past and present, a miniature old Ballan Library replicate inside the new Ballan Library & Community Hub. It's a true labour of love crafted by local artists Heather and Paul Anthony.
First touring in 1983, this work features three abstract figures set against a vibrant yellow background. Visitors are invited to guess who they might be and record their thoughts in the accompanying yearbooks.
Exhibition at Ballan Library & Community Hub by local Ballan artist Lou Callow.
This exhibition is inspired by more than 30 years of snorkelling in the wetlands of Ewens and Piccaninnie Ponds in South Australia’s southeast. Drawing on extensive photographic observations, the artist’s paintings offer a personal interpretation of the shifting light and vivid, saturated colours of these remarkable underwater environments.
