Update your animal details

If the details of your registered animal at Moorabool Shire Council have changed you should let us know.

Keeping both you and your animals details current will ensure your pet is not mistaken for a stray and it helps us reunite your furry friend with you much faster if they go missing.

If you move or change your phone number, don’t forget to update your details with Council and the company that holds your pet's microchip information.

You can make changes to your animal's registration, such as:

  • If your pet has moved to a different address or has moved out of Moorabool
  • If your pet has now been desexed
  • If a dog has been declared dangerous or menacing.
  • If your pet has been registered with an applicable organisation or has undergone obedience training with an approved organisation.*
  • Other changes of information.
