There will be no garbage, recycling, and green waste collections on Good Friday. These bins will be collected on Saturday 4 April. Following Good Friday, kerbside collections will return to normal, including Monday 6 April collections. Please continue to place your bins out by 6am.All Council Transfer Stations will be closed on Good Friday.
Our Landcare group operates in the Blackwood, Barry's Reef, Dales Creek, Greenhills, and Bullarto South areas. We live in the beautiful Wombat Forest and keeping weeds out of the forest is an important aim of our group. This means working in community open spaces, supporting garden owners to identify and remove environmental weeds and running workshops and displays about fauna and flora. We especially like environmental arts as a fun way for people and kids to enjoy and learn about the area. Caring for Our Patch is our motto.
