Council is inviting expressions of interest from community-minded individuals to join the Bacchus Marsh Public Hall Advisory Committee.

This volunteer committee provides advice and support to Council on matters relating to the Bacchus Marsh Public Hall ensuring decisions are informed by strong community input and reflect local needs.

Mayor Cr Paul Tatchell said the new committee would follow in the footsteps of the former Community Asset Committee (CAC), whose members contributed many years of guidance, local knowledge, and community connections to help shape the Hall into the vibrant space it is today.

“Their efforts have laid a strong foundation for the committee to continue supporting the Hall’s future,” Cr Tatchell said.

Council welcomes applications from individuals who have a passion for community facilities and local events and can bring relevant skills or experience to the role.

To express your interest, please provide a brief statement outlining your relevant experience and why you’d like to be involved. Applications can be submitted by email to committees@moorabool.vic.gov.au by 2 November 2025.

For more information, contact committees@moorabool.vic.gov.au or phone 5366 7100.
