Australia’s biggest secondhand treasure hunt is here!

Garage Sale Trail returns to Moorabool Shire Council over two big weekends, 7-8 and 14-15 November 2026, with hundreds of locals expected to sell or shop secondhand at garage sales and markets across the region.

Thanks to the support of Moorabool Shire Council, it’s completely free to take part and you can get involved on just one day, or join the fun across both weekends.

Clear out and cash in

No garage? No worries. Join a market near you, host from your unit block, a car boot, a local school or get your neighbours together for a pop-up secondhand street party.

Sellers make an average of $761 on the Trail, while community groups earn more than $1,300.

When you register, you’ll get everything you need to run a great sale. This includes a listing on the national map, ready-made promotional materials, seller tips and support spreading the word from Moorabool Shire Council and Garage Sale Trail. All provided for free.
