McLean Reserve Upgrade

Project background

The project aims to deliver activation and revitalisation of McLean Reserve, Ballan and introduce artistic elements into an integrated landscape design. The project includes:

• Construction of new shelter/stage
• Purchase and installation of playground equipment, seating and interpretive/wayfinding signage
• Restore and reinstall historic horse trough; MAPP Up in Lights noticeboard and drinking fountain
• Drainage, lighting, landscaping and paving

The project

Works at McLean Reserve commenced mid-January 2025 and completed in late August 2025.
