Frequently asked questions:

Do I need to set up a direct debit each rating year?

No, once you set up a direct debit it will continue unless you have provided an end date on your application, change your bank details or ask us to cancel it.

How do I check if my direct debit is set up?

When you apply for a direct debit you will receive a confirmation. If you need to double check, you will need to contact us.

What happens if my direct debit has not come out on the expected day?

If your rates haven't been deducted via direct debit on the expected day it could be for a few reasons:

1. Check Your Bank Account: Ensure there are sufficient funds in your account and that there are no issues with your bank that might have prevented the transaction.

2. Review Your Direct Debit Details: Make sure your direct debit details are up to date. If there have been any changes to your bank account, you might need to submit a new direct debit form.

3. Allow for Processing Time: Sometimes there might be a slight delay in processing, we recommended waiting up to 2 business days after the scheduled direct debit.

4. Contact Us: If everything seems in order on your end, it might be best to get in touch with our Customer Service team. They can check if there are any issues on our side. You can reach them at (03) 5366 7100.

How to check my rates balance online?

Rates balances cannot currently be checked online. To obtain the most accurate and up-to-date balance, please contact our Customer Service team on (03) 5366 7100.
