If your garbage (red lid), recycling (yellow lid) or green waste (green lid) bin is damaged, let us know so we can repair or organise a replacement.
We will replace damaged or missing bin lids, lid pins, wheels or wheel axles at no cost.
If your bin is damaged beyond repair you may need to purchase a new one.
- All new bins come with a 5 year warranty. If your bin is damaged beyond repair during this time we will organise a replacement.
- If your garbage or green waste bin is over 5 years old and has been damaged beyond repair, you will need to purchase a new bin. You can purchase a new bin here.
- Recycling bins will be replaced regardless of age at no cost.
If you are unsure how old you bin is, let us know about the damage and we will be able to look up the age of your bin and advise if it's covered under warranty.

What happens next?
Once you have reported a damaged bin, you will receive a confirmation email.
Leave your bin at the kerbside where it is usually collected. The repair will be completed within 5 business days.
