Opening hours are 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday and 10.00am-4.00pm Saturday and Sunday. The centre is closed some public holidays including Christmas Day and Good Friday.

Set amid picturesque rolling hills only 55km west of Melbourne, Bacchus Marsh combines country living with easy access to the city. An attractive mix of open spaces, friendly towns, orchards, deep gorges and forests, Bacchus Marsh is a great tourist destination.
Not to be missed destinations include the Werribee Gorge, Lerderderg Gorge, Brisbane Ranges and the Long Forest Nature Reserve which is the southern most remnant of mallee vegetation in Victoria. A team of volunteers can assist you with tourism enquiries and finding places to explore, eat and sleep in Moorabool Shire.
