Hide and Seek Festival 2027

Hide and Seek Festival is a platform to showcase Moorabool Shire’s unique townships and their individual arts, culture and music scene. In 2024 Moorabool Shire Council delivered the second iteration of Hide and Seek Festival across two weekends in November. Subsequently, and in direct response to feedback over de-briefs, it was determined that future scheduling of the festival should avoid conflict with local government caretaker periods, therefore, the next iteration will occur in 2027, after which it will be a biennial event. 

Hide and Seek 2027 will draw upon learnings and feedback from the 2024 event to refine the scope of the program. The development of the program will continue to be guided by a steering committee of local Arts, Events, Tourism and Business industry representatives and Council officers.  

Hide and Seek Festival 2027 will occur in October 2027 and likely be held across one weekend across all townships.  

Applications for membership of the Hide and Seek 2027 Steering Committee will be open from October 2025 with a link to the application form added to this webpage at that time.
