Traffic Survey in Moorabool Shire

The Department of Transport and Planning is partnering with Moorabool Shire Council to survey traffic and pedestrian movements at various locations across Victoria to identify any road safety issues. The survey technology detects objects and movement without capturing the identity of pedestrians and vehicles. 

Cameras have been set up at the following locations in the shire:

  • Bacchus Marsh - Halletts Way (Wittick Street)
  • Bacchus Marsh - Lerderderg Street (Young Street)
  • Bacchus Marsh - Wittick Street (Halletts Way)
  • Ballan - Duncan Street (Steiglitz)
  • Ballan - Inglis Street (Stead Street)
  • Ballan - Stead Street (Inglis Street)
  • Darley - Albert Street (Nelson Street)
  • Darley - Gisborne Road North (Somerton Court)
  • Darley - Grey Street East (Nelson Street)
  • Darley - Grey Street West (Hodgson Street)
  • Darley - Nelson Street (Albert Street)

The cameras will be installed for the next week and then will be taken down.
