Professor Anne Buist AO is a psychiatrist specialising in perinatal mental health, as well as the author of the Natalie King series of crime thrillers, published in Australia and internationally.
Graeme Simsion is a former IT consultant and CEO who made a late-career transition to writing. His internationally bestselling books, including The Rosie Project series, have sold over seven million copies and been translated into forty languages.
Together, Anne and Graeme have co-written five books, including the Two Steps series—set on long-distance walks—and the Menzies Mental Health series, with the most recent instalment being The General Hospital. They are also married—to each other.
In this session, Anne and Graeme will discuss the real-life inspiration behind their novels, the challenges and rewards of writing collaboratively, and their experience visiting bookshops across Australia.
Hosted by local bestselling author Holly Brunnbauer, this event brings together two acclaimed writers to explore their work and creative partnership.
