Plug-In & Play: Live Performance Setup

Get hands-on with live production! Learn how to safely run sound and lighting for a stage show — from mics, mixers, and speakers to lighting rigs and DMX. Discover how sound works, prevent hearing damage, avoid feedback, and run a pro soundcheck. Then take the stage with our volunteer band to mix sound and lights yourself.

• Understand how sound works and protect your hearing
• Get hands-on with mics, mixers, speakers & lighting
• Prevent feedback and run a pro-level soundcheck
• Set up and control stage lighting using DMX
• Join our volunteer band to mix live sound and lights

Lunch and snack will be provided for all participants.

For young people aged 12-25 years.
