Elder Abuse Information Session

Next date: Monday, 15 June 2026 | 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

To mark World Elder Abuse Awareness Day,  15 June, Moorabool residents have the opportunity to attend an information session about recognising and responding to elder abuse.

Elder abuse is an issue that is largely under-reported. It can take many forms, including physical, psychological, and financial abuse, as well as neglect, and often occurs where individuals are most vulnerable due to lack of visibility, support, access to services and awareness of their rights.

Older residents, carers, those who work with, provide services to, or engage with older people in our community are encouraged to attend this free session
