There will be no garbage, recycling, and green waste collections on Good Friday. These bins will be collected on Saturday 4 April. Following Good Friday, kerbside collections will return to normal, including Monday 6 April collections. Please continue to place your bins out by 6am.All Council Transfer Stations will be closed on Good Friday.

The Blackwood Trail Running Series offers scenic trail races ranging from 7km to 24km, designed to be enjoyable and accessible for runners of all levels. The event starts and finishes at the Blackwood Recreation Reserve. Runners will use short sections of Recreation Reserve Road, Simmons Reef Road, Skinners Road, Quicks Road and Lerderderg Road to reach the trail courses.
