Peppertree Park is a large open space park on Grant Street and is adjacent to the Bacchus Marsh Outdoor Pool. The Werribee River runs alongside the park which creates a peaceful escape and is a must-visit destination for nature lovers.
The park is known for its namesake Pepper Tree which is said to be over 150 years old and is a focal point of the park. The park also hosts walking paths, picnic areas, shaded spaces, and an amphitheatre.
Peppertree Park is popular for its 3km walk which runs upstream on a gravel path beside the Werribee River for about 1.5km before looping back. It is also a favourite spot for dog owners for its large grassed off-lead areas.
The park is home to the regular Peppertree Parkrun, which is held every Saturday at 8am. The fun, free community event allows participants to walk, run, or jog a 5km circuit around the park. For more information visit the Parkrun website.
Peppertree Park is an off-leash dog park where you can bring your furry friend for a run.
