There will be no garbage, recycling, and green waste collections on Good Friday. These bins will be collected on Saturday 4 April. Following Good Friday, kerbside collections will return to normal, including Monday 6 April collections. Please continue to place your bins out by 6am.All Council Transfer Stations will be closed on Good Friday.

Approximately 15 km south of Ballan lies Bungal State Forest; a small strip of wooded land bounded by the eastern branch of the Moorabool River and Bungal Creek.
Bungal State Forest is a small pocket of bushland spanning only seven square kilometres, mostly made up of Bull Mallee eucalyptus.
