Presented by Bacchus Marsh and District Historical Society.
In 1883 traveling photographers Stevenson and McNicoll visited Bacchus Marsh and took photographs of the town and district. The images show people, shops, businesses, houses and farms. It is a rare example of a visual record of a community at a point in time in the nineteenth century. This talk complements a similar talk presented last year and will present over 20 images not shown in last years presentation. Come along and learn more stories and history preserved by this unique set of images.
