Lions Club of Bacchus Marsh Inc will be hosting the Lions Skin Cancer van.
Trained dermoscopists, that is people trained in the skill of using a magnifying instrument specifically designed to get a close up view of the skin and skin lesions, will conduct the screenings and will determine if there are any suspect lesions. In the event that any skin lesions are identified that may require further attention, the dermoscopist provides a referral. It is not their task to diagnose – simply to check and refer on.
Bookings will be available from the second week of November.
