Author Talk - Rosalie Ham - "Look After Your Feet"
Next date: Wednesday, 15 April 2026 | 06:00 PM
to 07:00 PM
Join acclaimed Australian novelist Rosalie Ham—beloved for her international bestseller The Dressmaker—as she introduces her first work of non‑fiction, Look After Your Feet. In this warm, candid and deeply engaging conversation, Ham reflects on the moments that have shaped her life: a childhood in rural Australia, an unexpected rise to literary success, the lessons that come with ageing, and the many stories gathered along the way.
With her signature wit, insight, and emotional honesty, Look After Your Feet is more than a memoir; it is a meditation on endurance and ageing fearlessly, offering readers wisdom drawn from a life lived creatively and courageously (cheese and wine for dinner is welcome and acceptable!).
The title itself carries layered meaning - at once literal advice and a metaphor for self preservation – Look After Your Feet is written with mischief and a healthy dose of perspective, a must-read for those staring down the barrel of ageing.
