Snakes and Ladders Game - Access and Inclusion

A Game of Exclusion and Inclusion

Snakes and Ladders is an exciting, fun community education game which highlights and challenges the societal barriers that prevents inclusion of people with a disability. This game is excellent for team building and planning, staff training and human relations.

This game is a useful tool for schools. Where are the ladders? Ask yourself: can a person who uses a wheelchair scale a ladder?

You will need a large space as the game takes 7 x 7 metres floorspace.

There are bridge cards, snake cards and chance cards. Each of the cards is based on personal experiences drawn from local people and people across the State.
