If, like the majority of households, you are concerned about organic materials going to landfill, you will love our latest offer!

Council has partnered with social initiative Compost Revolution to bring our residents great savings on indoor and outdoor products. There are even free online tutorials to help you get the best results out of composting your food and garden materials.

Simply visit to check out the heavily-subsidised product kits available to you as a resident of the Shire of Moorabool.

We are excited to be offering 40 - 60% off recommended retail prices!

What you can choose from:

(A) Worm farm (made using recycled plastic, right here in Australia) + 1,000 worms

(B) Food scrap benchtop Bokashi kit for your kitchen or laundry + enzyme to accelerate material breakdown

(C) Outdoor composting bin + a nifty aerator tool.

How you receive your kit:

Compost and Bokashi kits need to be collected from Bacchus Marsh or Ballan. Worm Farms are delivered to keep the worms in good condition.

The fine print:

The total quantity of items offered in this pilot project is 150 kits. Products must be purchased as kits only (no separation or substitution is possible) and are limited to one kit per household. You are welcome to purchase other products outside the scope of Council subsidies. Simply visit the Australia-wide website at to browse the full range to make your purchase independently of Council's offers.
