The Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan identifies key priorities, strategies and actions to enhance community health and wellbeing across Moorabool Shire for the next 4 years.
The Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plan 2017-2021 was developed in consultation with key stakeholders and the community to address a number of key health priority areas. Actions within the plan aim to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for people who live, work and play in our Shire.
The priority areas include:
- Healthy Eating and Active Living
- Mental Health and Resilience
- Alcohol and Other Drugs
- Sexual and Reproductive Health
- Education and Employment
- Prevention of Violence and Injury
Priorities within the Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plan 2017-2021 align with the current VicHealth priorities.
Delivery of an annual action plan will be undertaken by the Health and Wellbeing Advisory Committee.
