Premier Dan Andrews has extended the State of Emergency in Victoria to 11 May, which means we’ll all be staying at home a bit longer. Well done to all in Moorabool who have been adhering to the rules and continuing to keep our rates of infection so low.
We encourage any businesses in the Shire who need help or advice to contact our Economic Development department. The unit is offering a range of initiatives and information for business owners, including online networking sessions, grant hub assistance and links to all the financial assistance available from other levels of Government. All this information is in one place on our website: https://www.moorabool.vic.gov.au/information-businesses-during-coronavirus
One last message: It’s really important that we continue with social distancing (staying 1.5 metres from people who don’t live in our household) so the gains we’ve made over the past few weeks aren’t lost.
