Share your views on road safety in Moorabool!

Council recently reached out to residents and visitors for their input via our online ‘Have Your Say’ survey, to assist in understanding the key road safety issues from the perspective of road users, riders and pedestrians, and identify potential opportunities for improvement for inclusion in the strategy.

For the second phase, community information sessions have been scheduled where a presentation will be conducted to provide a summary of the road safety data collected from the survey and to outline the results and key themes from feedback received.

Bookings for the sessions are not required.  Residents and visitors are encouraged to arrive at 5.30pm so that we can commence at 6.00pm sharp.

Following these sessions, a Draft Moorabool Community Road Safety Strategy will be developed and will then be presented to Council for consideration.

Mayor Cr Paul Tatchell encouraged as many people as possible to attend an information session and have their say.

“We’re very committed to doing our bit to reduce road trauma, and provide safe roads for all road users,” Cr Tatchell said.

“Having the community’s input on what actions we can take is a very important step to getting this strategy right.”
