Council’s Community Grants Program is now open, offering funds to support local groups and organisation in the delivery of community projects and events.
The Community Grants Program recognises the efforts of community groups, clubs and other not for profit organisations by helping them to deliver a diverse range of projects, events and other activities that contribute to the wellbeing and quality of life for residents of Moorabool.
Council invites applications from individuals, community groups and organisations under the following grant categories:
Community Strengthening - Community programs, activities or initiatives, capital improvements and small projects;
Community Arts - Arts activities or initiatives that link artists with local communities through small projects, publications, exhibitions, performances or other similar activities;
Community Events - Events that showcase local talent, provide public entertainment, foster community participation, connectedness and diversity;
Sustainability and Environmental Engagement - These support community groups in reducing expenditure on gas and electricity and providing opportunities to raise awareness of environmental issues to the broader community in different ways
Development Fund – Community Development Fund supports community infrastructure projects that have significant impact on community development, liveability and wellbeing throughout the Shire.
