Do you know a young person who has made a contribution to the Moorabool Community? If so they may be eligible for an award!
The achievements and Community contributions of local young people will be celebrated at the fourth annual Youth Awards during April 2018.
The awards are open to anyone aged between 12 and 25 years as at 30 April 2018, who live, work, go to school or have other significant connections to Moorabool Shire and who have made a contribution to their community.
“This is a great opportunity to see our young achievers rewarded for their fantastic work across a range of different areas,” Mayor Cr Paul Tatchell said.
“Contributions can include an achievement in an area of interest sport, arts, voluntary service to the community or someone who has overcome significant adversity.”
Anyone can nominate a young person, young people can even self-nominate.
Nomination forms are available at Council offices or can be downloaded from our Youth Page
Nomination forms must be completed and returned to Council by 5pm on Wednesday 7 March 2018. If a nominee is under 18 years of age, they must have parent or guardian permission to nominate.
The awards will be presented at a ceremony in late April 2018 as part of Moorabool Youth Month.
