Have your Say on the Draft Insuring Non Council Owned Assets (NCOA) Policy
For many communities the non-Council owned reserves and halls are often the only community asset in the area and a vital resource for community members.
There are risks to Council and to the community posed by not appropriately insuring non-Council owned assets (NCOA), particularly within the Shire’s smaller hamlets. The provision of insurance for damage or loss as a result of an unforeseen event such as vandalism, fire, flood, or storm damage for these facilities offers coverage where these events occur.
Council has drafted a Policy which outlines which non-Council owned assets (NCOA) will be insured under Council’s property insurance.
