Moorabool Shire Council has appointed @Leisure Planners to prepare a Splash Park Feasibility Study and review timing for the proposed Bacchus Marsh Indoor Aquatic Centre.

Splash Parks, also called Splash Pads, Waterparks or aquatic playgrounds are designed for interactive water play in zero depth water, reducing the requirement for constant adult supervision. They can vary significantly in size depending on the number of features or sprays fitted to the non-slip surface. Typically they are located in parks, aquatic centres both indoors and outdoors or tourist accommodation venues catering for young families.

Council is committed to increasing participation in physical activity by providing quality recreation facilities. Through this study, Council will determine whether a splash park is a feasible step to help achieve this outcome.

Your views and input are important to us in order to better understand the community’s needs and aspirations and to provide the best possible recreational facilities in the right locations.

This survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete and will be used to help us determine whether there is a need for a splash park within Moorabool.  Please ensure you answer every question.

All information provided will only be used for the purpose of this study and no personal details will be retained or used for other purposes
