Easter Saturday is a special day in Blackwood, a beautiful town in the Wombat State Forest, Victoria.
Festivities commence at 11am with the beloved street parade departing from the corner of Whalebone Rd and Martin St. The parade is quirky, creative and lots of fun. Arrival of the parade at the Recreation reserve marks the beginning of the Carnival and Woodchop competition.
A fabulous family friendly day with races and novelty games, a pet show, treasure hunt, face painting, gumboot throw, art and woodwork activities and jumping castles.
