Known for its fresh produce, Avenue of Honour and gently rolling hills, Bacchus Marsh, located only 45 minutes from Melbourne, has become a ‘must-see’ for visitors to the region.

Visitors will delight in the many roadside stalls selling fresh fruit and vegetables, jams, juices, sauces and preserves, all picked and processed locally. There is even the option to pick fresh fruit and vegetables direct from the farm when in season, including strawberries, apples and cherries.

Families will enjoy the Lerderderg River which winds along the Avenue of Honour and the range of parks that offers BBQ facilities and toilets. Bacchus Marsh is also a great base for exploring some of Victoria’s more rugged trails with the Lerderderg State Park, Wombat State Forest and Werribee Gorge all on its doorstep.

The bustling Main Street is home to a diverse choice of dining establishments, boutique stalls and some fascinating heritage-listed buildings. It is also where you will find the Bacchus Marsh Visitor Information Centre. Feel free to drop in and have a chat with the friendly team and find out more about the amazing attractions and activities on offer in this beautiful town.
