Leisure facilities
The Bacchus March Leisure Centre is located in 5 – 15 Labilliere Street, Bacchus Marsh.
The Bacchus March Leisure Centre provides a range of educational, health, fitness and recreational programs and activities. The facilities comprise:
- 2 indoor sports courts
- Drama Hall
- Canteen
Bacchus Marsh and Ballan Outdoor Pools
Council operates two outdoor pools seasonally at Bacchus Marsh and Ballan.
The Outdoor Pool season commences the first weekend in December and closes the Sunday of the Labour Day weekend.
For the 2022 - 2023 Outdoor Pool Season, the Outdoors Pools season will commence on Saturday 3 December 2022 and close Sunday 12 March 2023.
These pools are operated using a temperature policy to govern opening hours. The temperature policy dictates opening times as follows:
December:
Below 23C – closed
23C-25C – reduced hours: 3pm-6pm weekdays and 1pm-4pm on weekends
26C+ - open full hours 11am–7pm
35C+ - open extended hours 11am - 8pm
January:
Below 23C – closed
23C+ – open full hours 11am–7pm
35C+ - open extended hours 11am - 8pm
February and early March:
Below 23C – closed
23C-25C – reduced hours: 3pm-6pm weekdays and 1pm-4pm on weekends
26C+ - open full hours 11am–7pm.
35C+ - open extended hours 11am - 8pm

Council manages the Indoor Sports Stadium at the Darley Civic Community Hub. The stadium consists of one indoor sports court, commercial kitchen and supporting change and storage amenities.
