Discover the Hidden Gems of the Moorabool Shire

Hide + Seek Music Festival is a mid-winter music festival sharing the artists and unique venues only found in the Moorabool Shire.

The Moorabool Shire is just 45 minutes drive north west from the CBD of Melbourne and boasts many amazing musical artists and venues as well as grand landscapes, dense forests, spectacular gorges, quaint old gold mining towns and a deep and rich history through the Wadawurrung and the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung of the Kulin Nations.

The Hide + Seek Music Festival provides a very rare opportunity to discover new music and one of a kind venues.  Featuring over 60 artists across 20 venues starting on Saturday 25 June 2022 and running every Saturday for four weeks in regional towns Blackwood, Gordon, Bacchus Marsh and Ballan.

Wander through old gold mining towns and listen to some bluegrass, indie folk, rockabilly, blues and pop music inside venues ranging from an antique store to a bowling club to a caravan to a church to a hat shop.

Come see and hear the uniqueness the region has to offer, and it’s all free!
