Bacchus Marsh Historical

The Society maintains a comprehensive archive at the Lerderderg Library in Bacchus Marsh which is accessible to the community during set dates and times and is a certified Place of Deposit for the Public Record Office of Victoria.

The Bacchus Marsh and District Historical Society Inc was established October 4,1968 by a small group of community members concerned about the fate of the historic police cells, which were built from local sandstone and situated behind the present day Police Station in Main Street Bacchus Marsh.
