Preparation of Annual Budget for 2022/23

On Wednesday 11 May 2022, in accordance with Council’s Community Engagement Policy and the Local Government Act 2020, Moorabool Shire Council resolved to place the Proposed Annual Budget 2022/23 on exhibition inviting public submissions.
Copies of the Proposed 2022/23 Annual Budget are available for inspection on weekdays from 8.30am – 5.00pm from Thursday 12 May 2022 until and including Thursday 9 June 2022 at Council Offices at:
- 15 Stead Street, Ballan;
- 182 Halletts Way, Darley; and
- 215 Main Street, Bacchus Marsh
Copies of the Proposed 2022/23 Annual Budget can also be viewed on Council’s website, www.moorabool.vic.gov.au from Thursday 12 May 2022.
Submissions for the Proposed Annual Budget 2022/23 will be considered in accordance with the Local Government Act 2020. Council will consider submissions on Wednesday 15 June 2022 at a Special Meeting of Council to be held in the Council Chamber, 15 Stead Street, Ballan commencing at 6.00 pm.
Any person who wishes to be heard in support of a submission should indicate in the written submission that he or she wishes to be heard. Any person requesting to be heard in support of a submission is entitled to appear before this Special Meeting of Council, either personally or by a person acting on their behalf.
Please note that a summary of submissions, including the submitter’s name, will be made available to the public for the meeting where submissions will be considered.
