We’re celebrating Moorabool’s young people this month with three exciting events for Moorabool Youth Fest 2022.

Young people aged 13-17 years are invited to try their hand at baking, show off their skills in a Skate Competition and win some prizes at a Games Comp.

Skate Event

WHEN: Tuesday 27 September 2022, from 11am until 4pm

WHERE: Bacchus Marsh Skate Park @ Rotary Park, 10 Bennett Street Bacchus Marsh

Moorabool Shire Council and YMCA Skate Park League are giving young people aged 13-17 years the opportunity to showcase their talents and abilities and demonstrate their skate boarding, BMX and scooter skills at a Skate Competition at Bacchus Marsh Skate Park.

Young people are invited to come down and support and cheer on competitors as they battle it out in the bowl. They will also be able to find out about the range of programs on offer for youth in Moorabool.

This competition was made possible by a $2,000 grant from the Victorian State Government, offered to Councils, community organisations and schools to host face-to-face, digital or hybrid events that encourage young people’s participation, amplify young people’s voices and showcase their talents.

Young people aged 13-17 years are all welcome. We’ll have door prizes and raffles on the day.
